okay but listen, kevin trusts abby, he feels safe with her. and wymack trusts abby, she’s an integral part of keeping the foxes alive (both physically and metaphorically). and kevin and wymack trust each other, but there not there yet. abby is a source of comfort for both of them (as a maternal figure to kevin and a partner to wymack) she provides the emotional support for them and is a shoulder to lean on when they need someone. basically what i’m saying is that as kevin and wymack build their father and son relationship abby is there to pull them together and facilitate a healthy bond between the two and together they make a cute family unit and kevin starts calling abby mom before he calls wymack dad (to his face)
