silver eyed warriors were initially created by salem, as a means to keep both maidens &. grimm in check. she blessed the strongest warriors of different tribes, &. those warriors had a habit of making offspring together. eventually, most of the tribes kept to themselves, or other silver eyed warriors-- keeping the line clean.
eventually, both fear from the normal people &. silver eyed warriors not siding with salem, got them hunted. this happened sooner than anyone expected, as one used her power to kill &. maim those that would harm her. most silver eyed warriors were peacekeepers, &. never fought when it could be avoided. many of the tribes have been completely eradicated, or they have blended into society, diluting the line.
some of the tribes, or families, still exist, but are in hiding. there is a legend about a sunken city, full of water faunus-- which have silver eyes. others, scattered through the world, hide. in recent decades, one of the families had been eradicated-- the aeir line. however, one survived from the family, &. was adopted into the rose family-- though, that isn’t public knowledge.
