FOOLISH BOY . ) the thought never found its way out of khalid’s mouth , could only be found in the darkening of skin to an even darker shade . it was quickly replaced by a cheeky gleam in his eyes when he reached for byleth’s arm to pull him along , not yet knowing the destination . but didn’t you find the best locations by getting hopelessly lost ? impossible ! he knew the city better than anyone else . knew where to hide , what alleys to run through , what shortcuts to take to not get caught by other children . none of those he would have to take nowadays . becoming king of almyra had served well to fend of siblings only waiting to push him into the mud .
