If people really are in abusive relationships where their partners are systematically denying their abuse ever happened and the victim only imagined it because they’re crazy/hysterical/etc as a means of further increasing their emotional dependence because they ship the wrong Star Wars pairing then...well that’s obviously not ok. But I’m not sure the shipping itself would be the key issue there.
