A dark, dreary day. The sky did not make much noise, no angry rumbling that made sleep particularly difficult for the Grigori. He had made what is basically a nest in a back alley behind a local business. It was a nest of some cardboard boxes flattened and laying beneath him. Trash bags, plump with garbage, were pushed aside to accommodate him as he had settled against the brickwork of the business. Sunukkuhkau had a habit of settling in as it rained and sleeping through it. It brought peace, a sense of calm despite the chill that followed. He often brought his long legs to his chest and rested his head atop his knees while his arms hugged his legs.
Comfortable. Sleepy. He begins to drift off as his wings, white with mottled grey areas, began to soak in the downpour. They sagged a bit, heavy with the rain, but remained arched enough to give him some shelter while the rain would run off the ends of the frayed feathers and onto the cardboard he sat upon.
