Lyrics: What are some songs you associate with your character? Any specific lyrics that really scream your character?

there are Too many but the first that jumped to mind were this specific breakdown in bite the hand - boygenius

i will give a 1 1/2 answer! which is just two small fun little things.

the first: lane does not drive anywhere if they can help it. they scooter or skateboard or walk but driving is their last resort always. their dingy green hatchback is more like a box for listening to music through a bad stereo and transporting equipment when necessary.

and the second little thing: uh lane exists in everyone’s canon playthroughs they’re selling ur bands merch they’re ur mc’s biggest fan they’re hauling ur gear they’re chain smoking at the gig

Change: How has their personality changed since Seven left the band? Are those changes related to Seven leaving?

Oooooooooh, I think Mia had some changes after Seven left, some obviously were age related and you know….life experiences; but Seven leaving definitely affected them.

She started using humor and jokes to deflect and avoid getting into serious topics of conversation (and to avoid getting close to new people). I think a part of them felt betrayed by Seven's actions, so Mia is much more careful who they truly trust; she jokes around and is friendly but nothing too serious at first. They also started sleeping around more and not really being able to enter a committed relationship (they say they don’t need it but i think she is actually still hurt)

Other than that i think they became much more passionate about her music, not that she wasn’t before but it’s almost feral and obsessive now, they NEED to succeed. I don’t think this is exclusively Seven related, obviously them leaving played a part on it but i think it’s also the need to show the world (and themselves) that they can make it

Besties: What’s their friendship with Rowan like? What are some things only he knows about them?

JUICY. Rowan and Mia are truly the half of the same braincel, they have known each other for ages now to the point they are extremely connected (i have this headcanon that Seven, Rowan and Mia were known as the “disaster trio” and did almost everything together lmaooo)and he kind of gets her in ways that no one else does, but at the same time they are so similar that when they do butt heads it’s world war 3 lol. After Seven left, their relationship grew a little distant, i think it was Mia’s way of protecting themselves, but after a few months both of them had this “i’m never gonna leave you like that” and things started to go even better between them (but also omg i am truly a rowan x mc ship believer soooooooooooooooooooo)

mmmm…something he only knows….i think he was the only one Mia told the real reason why they didn’t remove Seven’s tattoo (everyone else suspects but he is the only one to actually know, blame the alcohol during a thursday night lol). OH, and he is the only one to know that back when Mia was 15 years old they put chewing gum on Kitty Rosenfield’s hair after the girl kept bothering one of Mia's friends (they had to cut most of it RIP), plus some other things; they still don’t regret it lolololol

favourites: which song of the band’s is your mc’s favourite? which is the fan-favourite?

okay im desperately attempting to write songs for dead apple but until then arabella's favorite song is monroe ! the beat and the guitars scratch some part of her brain and she dances all sexy on stage to this one LMFAO it makes the audience go crazy everytime without fail

the fan favorite .. hm i would say it's probably decode or fuck me because arabella's singing is insane ! and these songs r just so good

manager: do they get along with orion? what do they think of him as their band manager?

arabella gets along with orion for the most part but she does think he needs to chill out desperately and she isn't afraid to tell him that LMFAO and she likes him as a band manager ! he gets shit done and that's all she can really ask for yk. he's also the main reason she decided to stay in the band but she would rather die than tell him he had that much of an impact KSKSNDBDNSKS

Retro and Seven for Marie? <3 ~ @whowhatifs

Retro:

Marie’s first CD would’ve been a 2000s pop-rock/pop-punk type album, which she most definitely still has somewhere for decoration. She still listens to it though, but she streams it. I imagine that the album influence the genre of music she preforms and continues to listen to. 

Seven:

Marie and Seven are ex’s and I imagine they were both their first loves, so very cute, but also kinda awkward. I think they both just enjoyed having the company of someone who cared about them, in general. Seeing as Marie’s parents were awol and Seven’s whole family situation. I think the two of them were just two very lonely people who found comfort in the other one's presence. That being said I’m not surprised that their relationship didn’t last through all that drama lol (yikes)

okay, hear me out. this very much depends on the leader. in the narrative, did they rise to the role of leader over time and through a demonstration of actions the rest of the cast found worthy of leadership? are they turning down the role of leader (especially after having it for a time) because power corrupts? if so, nah. just step up, my dude, these people need you and your morals can be sorted out later.

but if we're starting the story with a villain, and they're going through a redemption arc, then sure. i could get into it.
