My 22nd birthday started the evening before when Harriet presented me with my birthday cake substitute...
Cheese is so expensive here and Canadian cheese is awful so it was a nice treat to have some smoked English cheddar. After a couple of beers and some wine we cracked out this little gem that we found in the house...
George probably deserved to win but I won both times. I hate geography but gallivant sure does make it fun!
After a great nights sleep and a long lie in, Harriet and I went for breakfast at the Alpine Meadows cafe around the corner... I had the SLAM! Eggs, Bacon, Hash Potatoes, French Toast with cinnamon and Maple Syrup. Harriet had Mexican hash potatoes and bacon. We also watched the Vancouver Canucks smash Carolina in the NHL and went to an artisan market. The rest of my 3 day birthday ends tomorrow. To be continued...
