Anyone else have like, character-specific whump tropes? Where there's one specific type of pain you want to keep putting one specific character through, just in different scenarios and settings.

Emerging from my absence to say that, in preparation for the Netflix series (starring the wonderful Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), I have decided to re-read the delightfully whumpee Lincoln Lawyer books as soon as I've figured out where I packed them. With any luck, some of that whump will make it to the small screen. Also fingers crossed it gets a bit of a fandom because I would definitely write for it!
