The next installment of mathematical sadness...
Now he's trying to make a dominos metaphor and one woman literally says "if you could stop making metaphors and just explain to me how this is relevant to my practice and make it interesting for me, then maybe I'd want to understand this more." The professor is just too nice to say "well you don't have to be in this class..." So he just looks really defeated and says "I try my best to make this interesting for you guys, it's like a gallery, I can put up a sign saying there's an art show, but I can't help it if the people that come in just spend the whole time texting, all I can do is lead you to the art, I can't force you to appreciate it. Mathematics is the same way." :l This poor guy.
