Aw shit I've been tagged around 3 months ago.
Let's give it a try then.
10 Books That Stayed With You : In a text post, list ten books that havestayed with you in some way. Don’t take but a few minutes and don’t think too hard — they don’t have to be the “right” or “great” works, just the ones that have touched you. Tag ten friends, including me, so I’ll see your list.
Thirteen reasons why. by Jay Asher - The first book I bought and read in english.
Les Misérables. by Victor Hugo - I could devote the entire text post to explain why.
HitchHiker's Guide to the Galaxy. by Douglas Adam - The full series of books. They really shaped my sense of humor.
The Discworld series. by Terry Pratchett - See previous book.
The Earthsea Quartet. by Ursula LeGuin - A huge lesson in writing style and how it affects the reader's perception.
American Gods. by Neil Gaiman - Another lesson in writing. The reader doesn't need to know everything.
A Song of Ice and Fire. by George R.R. Martin - Because oh. my. god.
The Silmarillion. by J.R.R. Tolkien - It's been at least 5 years since I read it and I still have excerpts coming back to my mind from times to times.
The Foundation & Robots Cycles. by Isaac Asimov - A whole era of my life. (shhh, saying two full cycles instead of just one book is not cheating)
Artemis Fowl. (the book not the series) by Eoin Colfer - Because it was when I got around reading it that I started contemplating the idea that "hey, maybe I can write too !".
And.. I think that's ten ! Also, I'll probably tag your name/nickname/old-urls instead of your url because I don't know half of your new urls now, you teens and your url-changing habits nowadays.
