Finally caught up with the first half of this season’s Agents of SHIELD (is this only season 3?) and I have to ask... does the writer of this show have some sort of personal stake in keeping Brett Dalton employed? We finally killed Grant Ward- something I have been waiting for since five minutes into the first episode of season one (I haven't liked that character since they tried to shove down my throat, without ever proving it, that he's "better than Romanov." You're a visual medium, AoS: show, don't tell.)- but it was completely unsatisfying as it was entirely focused on Coulson being a revenge fixated weirdo (seriously Fury, this is the guy you couldn't run SHIELD without??) and of course we turn around and Ward's right back. As the fricking zombie host of yet another boring villain. I. Hate. Zombies. That's a personal issue, I know. But it is one more thing in the column of Reasons Grant Ward Is the Most Useless Character Ever. Maybe now we can get rid of all of that utterly ridiculous backstory they wrote for Ward and actually give Brett Dalton something interesting to do, but I doubt it.
