RusAme. For some reason i kept going until i found more and more and I was worse the Germany in the episode where his feelings overflow and there's hearts everywhere. And ever since then I've slowly fallen into a maddening decent into searching for more rusame and more and more. and it's so cute that I am lost in this pit of RusAme (2/2)

That love overflows for me since 2015 until 2018 then irl tasks happened and I was absent from this ship since 2020.. but here I am back again on 2023 lol

I fell in love w/Rusame because I absolutely love history and the 40s-60s is my favorite time to study! Way back when I was learning about the space race in class and later going home to read all the Rusame space race au fics made my heart happy. I guess I just liked the way they relate to one another? And I'm a sucker for enemies to friends to lovers so it was meant to be I guess? I hope this makes sense 😂

Hahaaa yeah me too, I love enemies to friends to lovers trope! But when I found out their history is actually friends to enemies to friends to lovers, I fell in love with rusame even more ahahaa

How did I fall? It was because of fanarts and fanfics. I can't for the name of God write the name of the writer, but the first fic that made me ship them was "World Worst Vampire". Fanarts were popular then, but I continued watching the show till I get to the part were Nyotalia appeared for the first time. Oh boi, I don't know what happened then, but the female version made me fall hard. I still love the canon version, of course, but the only reason I'm still in this fandom is fem!RusAme.

Yees WWV is a very colorful and interesting fanfic! :D

Also I feeeell. I used to be just like “this pairing is interesting” towards RA, but the trigger that made me fell hard is thanks to one fic. And for you, the trigger is the nyotalia.

And same, for me, the reason i’m still in the fandom is the canon version of RusAme, haha. Oh my, to think I created my main blog for hetalia stuffs only and now here I am, lol.

SO, i got into Rusame/AmeRus before hetalia, ironically. I used to say "The Cold War was sexual tension" XD and when I got into hetalia i just kinda slid in like "yes this is where I belong"

I also used to think theor history revolves only around Cold War conflict but actually they shared history more than that :)

I remember how I got into RusAme! I was reading a FrUK fic That had RusAme and I like the way they were being portrayed so I slowly started to look up RusAme fics, granger I was a huge ameripan shipper back then so it took a while but now I’m a major RusAme shipper

Wowww that’s cool that you’re open minded that you could even turn to ship that conflicts with your otp! :D May I know what’s the FrUK fic you’re talking about? I’m curious and would read it if it has considerable rusame portion in it, hahaa

I think this is the first time I see an ameripan shipper turn to be a major rusame shipper, very cool!

I can't even remember how i got into RusAme, sometimes it feels like i just woke up one day and thought "Russia x America, yup 👌"

i think you meant 5 reasons to ship RA:

1. This ship is. fcking. versatile

2. Their history is fcking complex and very intriguing to be personified

3. They’re opposites but complement each other perfectly

4. I just love how they’re equal in a sense that historically, they always see each other as either their best friend or their arch rival (and there’s like no inbetween, lol), unlike colony colonizer ships which I could hardly see as equal combination.
