April 5: I have so much gratitude for this group! What an amazing 2.5 days together! But even more gratitude for the support they showed for for a peer who could not join us. Jimmy's son, Devin, is a 6 year old who is fighting an incredibly rare pediatric cancer called Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG). The tumor is inoperable due to the location, and has 8 months to 2 years to live. My heart hurts for anyone else who has to experience what this awful disease can do to able bodies and minds, regardless of age. Devin, keep fighting! Be Strong, Be Brave, Be First! There's a lot of people behind you, praying for a miracle!
