               he should really take a page out of everybody else’s books. barton, tony, and danvers too? it was either farmhouses or at least somewhere SECLUDED. somewhere to escape the madness of new york city — though, said madness was one of the only places that felt like home, nowadays. he’d said it himself those years ago... he wasn’t sure he’d be cut out for a life like this anymore. though, a VACATION would be nice. with most of the avengers taking much-needed time off, rogers had been sure to keep tabs if only to make sure they were faring well. 

              it’d been a longer drive, but that was alright. gave him time to think with the wind whipping along his face. every time he was on his bike it felt like a second nature.                the dramatic effect of it kicking up dust and dirt as he pulled up the road was a little bit satisfying too. he’ll admit that.                “  nice place, danvers. i’m actually a little bit jealous.   ”   could he have just phoned her and made sure she was alright from the comfort of headquarters? maybe — but he needed to get out for a while.

uncommon character development questions. 

Does your character trust people right off the bat or does it take them some time to warm up to someone?

Clint has never trusted anyone right off the bat. There are only a handful of people that he really trusts, that he’d willingly keep his eyes closed and let them lead him anywhere, but even the basic level of trust takes awhile. It’s different from an ‘on the field’ level of trust - he needs to entrust other SHIELD agents with that when he’s on a mission in order for everything to run smoothly, but he’s still cautious all the same. Once SHIELD fell even that basic field trust level was very difficult to come by unless he knows you and has confirmed you weren’t working for the other guys. 

Finally: if your character was forced to eat one thing for the rest of their life, what would they eat and why? 

Clint would want to say pizza, but he also knows that he needs to keep in top form. But then again, you can get vegetables on pizza so ... yeah.

mortality was something wanda had spent a lot of time thinking about after she’d returned. she’d been distant since every single sound seemed amplified after spending so long in a void. simple pleasures were things to keep her mind occupied as she readjusted and any sort of ripple in the space around her was enough to spark her attention. 

when a body crossed the threshold to the common area, wanda’s head immediately lifted up from her coloring page but fell back to the book. “ i thought they were having a catered dinner tonight? “ she asked.
