tbh this is something i still haven’t worked out I think that determinism exists to some degree but i’m just not sure what yet because I don’t know enough about the science of impulse to say if there’s any true randomness in the mind, leading to spontaneous action, disproving determinism (and therefore destiny) but if i’m going to be just elma and not a bs philosopher for a moment, i’d like to say i believe in destiny (or a guiding higher power) because there’s some moments in life that i feel spontaneously called to do something out of the ordinary and it turns out being something Good and Needed in my life

honestly yeah i’m always dreaming of the future and possible chains of events and what i might be and do and despite everything i can’t hate anyone and i still believe humanity is good at heart and that we’re striving towards some goal far beyond ourselves (im too tired to talk more about that but in essence, the meaning of life is escaping animalistic necessity and turning every aspect of our lives into art, i.e. life beyond mere survival)
