Mezcal with Nightshade

She felt like drinking If only for a brief moment Though, she never liked alcohol

(she despised it as much as cough syrup)

She was spiraling (Not unusual)

But she'd much rather have a drink With the Reaper herself Than to feel the way she does

She won't, of course But the idea is there And so she'd likely tell a bartender

"Mezcal with nightshade."

Both of those being very potent One in a booze and the other a noxious plant Morbidly curious, she still wondered

What the effect of that would be Perhaps, it would be like falling asleep Except, never again would she awake.

She mentioned idly That her favorite book For a bad mood

Is Wicked Plants

She didn't mention The title but someone asked her To which she told them

She didn't click so well With most, besides the Exceptional

This one, to her estimation, Is exceptional, and, thus, She clicked well

Bonding over a book She read while in a bad mood Aptly titled,

Wicked Plants
