My parents first came to Tampa to see me perform. I bought them house seats and then three times in a row, my mom won lottery. . My sister came out a couple months later in Minneapolis! One of my favorite cities on tour just because she was there! . Then they all came out in Chicago for my second Christmas on tour and so Kayla could celebrate her birthday with me. It was so much better being with family. My first Christmas was only a few days after my debut and I was alone in a hotel room on Skype. . Then my sister came out again in Indianapolis as I was healing from a break up. That also became one of my top cities and it's because my sister was there. I'm most myself when she's there. . Then I got so blessed to play the Pantages in LA where my family got to see me perform again on home turf. . I'm so lucky to have a family that fully supports this strange life I have. I have two parents from the Philippines who are beyond proud of me and excited for every little and big job I do. It's been a long journey for us all, but I wouldn't have been able to survive this without them. . And the fact that I share this lifestyle with my sister is beyond. It's a magical thing to have a sister. And to have one that shares the same art language as I do is so incredibly special. But it's because she can ground me back to the human that I am when this career starts to wear your spirit down. She reminds me of the love I have for the art. And watching her perform keeps me inspired in what I do for a living. . I'm lucky I got to share this show and the country with my heart and soul. . Seattle, you have reunited me with friends from years passed! @timjennings42 was one of my stage crew for the @therealelvira shows I did at @knottsberryfarm !!! He was just a wee lad....like I'm pretty one of those years we celebrated his 21st! he's now worked so many shows that @kay_lamallari has been in also at Knott's! He happened to be in Seattle for vacation and came to Wicked his last day! Then there's @danielluu !!!! I think it was almost 7 years ago we saw each other in LA. We both went to #fairfieldhigh in our rinkydink town and now crossing paths in Seattle because he's with @amazon and I'm with @wicked_musical on tour!!! He's one of those guys that has stayed magically attached to our family. He was in @kay_lamallari 's class in high school and was always such a good friend. He even came over for Xmas (her birthday) a few times just to get beat up by our rambunctious family. And then he went to college with our cousin @marpaz ! The last time I saw him was the sibling dinner we did with @dinela Almost 7 years ago. We were just missing his sister @nancylives ! (You're little bro is all grown up!!! WE'RE OLD!!!!!!)
