Hi! This is a little theory, kay, so,,i heard jasper say 'yellow' diamond, and the gems didn't seem to recognize that name, but in the temple there is a 'diamond' fighting rose on the pictures on the walls no?, what if 'diamonds' are some sort of empire? With the colored diamonds being ranks and the 'pure' diamond being the head of homeworld, maybe Rose fought pure diamond.
You know I was wondering the same thing, the fact that none of the Crystal Gems seemed to react to the name Yellow Diamond was telling, but at the same time (and this is probably my Ronaldo side talking) I can’t shake the idea of a Diamond controlling force. A pure diamond being in charge seems possible, although I wonder what really pushed the Homeworld away from Earth in the end. If only the four Crystal Gems we know were left, obviously there weren’t many to fight- did Rose and the others defeat the big bad then and there’s a new lead bad in power now? So many questions but yes! I am currently holding to the theory of Diamonds in power. It’s too good not to pass up. Maybe there’s a rainbow ranking system for them too???
