There are two sides to the main character. First, let me introduce your powers real quick.

Bloodline Characteristics: Prey on human weakness.

Power: The art of seduction. Ethereal looks that stand out from a crowd, a natural scent that acts as an aphrodisiac, and eye contact that will make people feel entranced.

Your mission is to gain the trust of the other households and make one of the characters fall in love with you. The type of personality you portray is a sweet and kind person, the opposite of what one would expect from your family. Make them lower their guard. You can also make choices to be more seductive/charming - and this is more malleable as you progress in the story. While you smile and pretend to be different, in reality, you have a heart of black. You've been put through trials of heartbreak and death, making it hard for you to feel sympathy or open up to others. Ever since you were young, it was instilled in you to kill for the sake of your family's rising. However, as you gain new experiences and meet new people, there is a potential to change and fall in love. Whether or not you choose to still be cold-heart, ruthless, Viridescent or a changed person is all up to you and the choices you make in the story.

I was wondering actually, how experienced / unexperienced are ROs when it comes to romance or just physical love? (I assume MC -is- experienced, judging by the MC's story)

MC is highly experienced in physical love because it is their ability. When it comes to romance particularly, certainly they are able to fake love, but when it comes to true love, that is the greater question. Aemion: As the gentlemen he is, he's gone out on dates and kissed, but it has never escalated farther than that. As the next emperor, it is dangerous to sleep around with nobles due to the potential of an heir.

Lucius: He has attempted to hit on women, but ultimately comes off as being mean. He is the type of boy in the playground that would bully you to get your attention. Elysia: Due to her kind nature, she has had several people mistake her friendliness for love and go on dates without realizing it. Her personality makes it easy for her to be romantic. Innocent physical touch is easy for her, but anything sexual in nature is a completely different ball game.

Azriel: The most experienced. He's slept around and enjoys indulging in human greed. However, he has no idea what love truly is and romance is not in his vocabulary. Syren: Syren is a male. While they have dabbled in physical pleasures in the past, they prefers to stay away and use non-sexual physical touch. They have had several lovers, using the exchange of romantic words, feelings, and soft caresses on the skin.

How boys, only by our semi-set personality I can tell MC was traumatized beyond words by their familly. 😰 I'm definitely going to betray them as soon as I can by making my MC have a good heart deep down and wanting to be genuinely a good person but hiding it from them since they are young. Will it be possible to play that kind of MC ? Like in the beginning are we set to have low empathy and compassion due to our familly ? Or can we still cling to those deep down and show genuine kindness behind their back ? I know I'm a softie but I needed to ask because the moment I can make MC genuinely kind I will jump at the options without turning back. So I just wondered if they would come later or not ? 😉

Unfortunately, your character has low empathy and compassion in the beginning. You've been "brainwashed" in loose terms into believing that your purpose is to bring the Viridescent name to glory. Your family should not be serving an emperor. The power should be yours. You've learned about the other Houses since you were young and have labeled them as your pure enemy.

In this realm, bloodline is also a crucial concept - particularly in the domain of nature vs. nurture. Certain people have certain traits and personalities common in their family line due to the powers that they hold. The Viridescent are "preying on human weakness"; hence they have very twisted characters.

However, in the story, there are four main situations you can follow in the story:

- Uninterested in romance and completely black-hearted with the intention of betrayal. The classic Viridescent type of personality - main route.

- Interested in romance and have cute genuine moments. You follow the love route, but in the end, you stay black-hearted enough to betray after playing around.

- Fall in love, but continue to seek power. Stay black-hearted and manipulate your lovers to stay by your side while pursuing your rise, instead of your families.

- Meet your love interest, fall in love, and learn that there is more to life than power. Of course, your character isn't switching 360, but there will be moments of innocence and genuine love. A time where you feel safe, and you can be yourself - no seduction, no external pressure, with only love in your heart.

can i just say that i adore this concept? the aesthetic is immaculate~ the ro's all sound so interesting and unique as well! i'm currently trying deciding which of my oc's should romance who, so i have a classic question (feel free to ignore it if it's spoilery!)

Do the ROs know about the MC's art of seduction? And what's their thoughts on a MC that's kind of (used to be)a player? I mean. Art of seduction. We're the villian. Why not?

So rather than the "art of seduction," the family disguises your powers as the "art of persuasion." Slightly different in nuances, making it a lot more acceptable. Because your powers are manipulative, you can disguise it quickly, as long as you doesn't take your scent and eye-contact powers too far. People falling in love with you is an aftermath of using their powers due to your beauty; rather than causation, it is a correlation. Your family shares the backstory that you are the weakest family member but the most acceptable to send over to the capital. The family is hostile - and angry at being sent to the cold. Father doesn't want to send the siblings because "they are weary of Aemion's intentions" and would instead send you, their weakest link.

Aemion is trying to convince MC to make amends and become the bridge between the two groups. They need your family's strength. A perfect disguise to get closer to the ROs.

MC has a very "pleasant" scent huh... 👀 Is it a passive ability that'll affect people without any effort on the MC's part or do they have to activate it first for it to work?

Answering two questions in one: So the MC has a very alluring base scent; however, you can make it more potent; the amplest level is the aphrodisiac. As the MC, you don't want to make it too strong during your day-to-day interactions because it would make the RO's wary about you (They will all notice something is wrong). They don't want to be seduced and are not planning on getting manipulated.

You need to activate your powers in specific scenarios that would benefit you. The aphrodisiac level typically leads to scenes that make your story a lot more spicey / NSFW.

In regards to visuals, it is pretty self-explanatory. There is nobody in the entire empire that compares to your ethereal beauty. Everyone will have a double-take, and it will be hard for people to stare away. 

Entrancing eye contact is activated when you want to make your victim feel a hazy love for you. Of course, you can control the affection levels. Under this hypnosis, your presence influences their heartbeat and mind, making them more susceptible to your suggestions. Think of when you're talking to your crush, and you have butterflies in your stomach, or when you are looking deep into the eyes of your loved one, feeling like the whole world is in your hands.

Like regular attraction, entrancing powers can also be addicting, especially for characters who have never felt love before.

Stronger characters may fight it once they realize they are under your spell; it is best used when they are already interested in you. The other best method is to use small doses in critical moments to mimic the feeling of a crush, eventually making them fall in love willingly.

Your powers work best with regular people who do not possess powers. They can be used to convince guards, workers, etc. to play by your will. You will have a harder time with the RO’s as you will not be able to instantly make them fall in love. It will be a process, but your powers will help you to meet your objectives.

How old are the ROs and the MC? And what powers do our siblings and parents have? I'm assuming they have different powers from us, cause I can't imagine how sister dearest could make poisons more potent with the art of seduction.

There is no specific age for the characters and the MC just so that you can be interacting with them in the age group you feel interested in. However, all of them are 18+ of course, due to the nature of the story. Here are your siblings + Father's powers in better detail.

The Viridescent Household

Bloodline Characteristics: Prey on human weakness.

Father: The power of torture - when the victim has open wounds, he is able to control how excruciating the pain is, to the point of making it unbearable. Ophir: There are three different aspects of his ability. His inane talent with swords, particularly multiple small daggers. The ability to see at night, but has a harder time during the day (trade-off). A quick, but very accurate speed that is incomparable to a regular person (5x).

Solandis: The power to increase the potency of the poison she creates. When she pours her power into her creation, she is able to increase its effects - deadlier ingredients more reactive than healing potions.

I have very bad feeling, that since MC's brother is ready to kill the MC if they fail, then what is the limit to the family's violence, would the brother try to kill the RO to make MC 'focus'? does the MC even understand consent correctly, with their powers? how their childhood looked, since you can't train someone of that powers and NOT traumatise them to shit. I just want to hug MC and hide them under a blanket at this point
