If you character knew that they could solve their single biggest problem by ordering the death of one of the played characters they've met and interacted with in town, would they do it, and who would they choose and why?

[meta] If you character were the champion or offspring of a mythological deity, which would it be and why?

Listen. I didn't want to be super obvious and jump to say Hecate, the Hellenistic goddess associated with witchcraft who sometimes crops up in Wiccan and Neo-Pagan practices, which Morgan was raised around.

But Hecate isn’t just the goddess of witchcraft. She's also a liminal goddess whose iconography was (among other things) marked on doorways to help protect the home from evil spirits.

As a goddess who moves between realms, she is also associated with the underworld. Some stories go that she helped search for Persephone, found her, stays in the underworld to serve her, and/or escorts her on her journeys in/out of that realm.

Hecate also frequently associated as the 'crone' in the triple moon image. In this configuration, Artemis often(?) serves as the 'mother'.

So, we've got a goddess of crossroads and liminal existence who likes to protect the home, dips in and out of the underworld, will travel to the ends of the universe to rescue someone, has some ties to the 'virgin goddess’ of the hunt, and is invoked in some practices as the mother of magic.

I don't know what else to say except: that’s it; the girl. Hecate champion forever.

If your character were in a game of dead by daylight, what would their play style be?

[meta] Marley IS the killer, lmfao. She's........basically Freddy. Maybe with a gun, though. Freddy with a gun. Get fucked, survivors.

On a more in-depth note, she’d be a stealth killer. Probably named like “The Mara”. If you’re on a map at night, she can turn invisible like the Wraith and get rid of the terror radius. If it’s a map with sunglight, she can turn intangible and walk through building walls, but still has a terror radius. Her killer power is the “Fear Gaze’, in which if a survivor looks in the killer’s direction for more than 3 seconds 8m or closer, they are paralyzed for 5 seconds. Her attack is with a big knife, lunge is her stabbing it into your back.

Perks would be like...’I Can See You’ in which after gaining tokens, you can spend 2 to see through lockers at a certain distance. ‘Dark Shroud’ which is a perk that’s a hex, where, when activated, when a survivor is on a generator, there’s either a cloud of darkness that makes things harder to see, or they are oblivious. And ‘Breathless’, which doubles the time for exhaustion to regenerate.

[meta] Is there anything that weighs heavy on your character's conscience right now? What do they plan to do about it, if anything?

OOC:

Ah yes, my problem child. Surprisingly, it’s not the murder! Luce is very comfortable with murdering August-- she wholeheartedly believes that he deserved to die and that his death was a very necessary part of setting things right and making sure that balance was restored. A life for a life, equivalent exchange, that’s the nature of magic.

However, she has a lot of guilt and moral conflict regarding the harm she’s caused the people she begrudgingly cares about. She feels very guilty for getting Blanche and Winston involved in Bea’s resurrection, for one thing. Also, after seeing how badly blowing up the Ring affected Adam, Remmy, and Nell, she feels incredibly guilty that she did that without telling them the plan from the beginning. Again, she doesn’t care as much about the mass murder, arson, and destruction. The people she’s killed (so far) have been terrible people doing terrible things and that’s the part that helps her sleep at night. Does the fact she’s killed and isn’t too messed up by it bother her? Yeah, but we don’t talk about that.

Her plans to fix her internal conflict are to finish helping the people she cares about in an attempt to pay reparations for the damage she’s done and then to fuck off into the woods again.

[meta] Is there anything that weighs heavy on your character's conscience right now? What do they plan to do about it, if anything?

OOC:

Skylar typically has a lot weighing on her mind, but as far as her conscience? Hm. Unlike certain problem children, Skye doesn’t do anything too morally reprehensible and doesn’t generally have much that worries her from a moral stand point.

That said, the thing weighing most heavily upon her is her past use of Bliss and the vial still being kept in her room. She doesn’t like keeping secrets and doesn’t like the divide that it’s creating between her and the people she cares about the most. Specifically, she is very conflicted about keeping her experiments with Bliss a secret from Nic. Remmy, Winston, and Morgan. She cares about all of them deeply, but doesn’t know how to talk to them about what she’s going through and doesn’t think they’ll understand why she’s done what she has.

She has no real plans to deal with this though, because she’s given up on Bliss. She’s turning over a new leaf, she’s trying to be a better person, a better Selkie, someone who loves herself. Right? :)

[meta] How does your character feel about the supernatural?

[meta] So obviously Winston is very very very very new to all of this, their introduction to the supernatural came from a complete accident and they weren’t expecting any of it. So the honest truth is that they’re very lost right now, they’re getting to grips with everything more and more and they’re getting less lost, but they’ve only been aware of the supernatural for just under three months (or so) so they’re learning a lot. 

Once they adjust to the supernatural and really get their hands on things and get to grips with magic and what different dangers the supernatural world poses to them and what potential there is for things to go wrong, they will begin to develop a more nuanced and niche view and will probably stop taking as innocent of an opinion of things. 

They just want everyone to get along.
