After getting all of her memories back about Kai Parker, Ali had gone to search for him. She eventually found him in the kitchens with other students, noting that he was making a sandwich. How human, Ali thought to herself, as she walked passed her students, who had greeted her and she gave them a friendly smile. Best not to fight with the guest in the kitchen in front of them, Ali thought to herself, as her main priority was to make sure that the students are safe.

Acting like nothing is wrong, Ali grabbed some food from the fridge and carried it over to the island bench. Her back was facing Kai, as the students began to file out. Class was about to start again. Finally, Ali thought to herself, once the students had finally left and it was just them. Her and him. Silence filled the room before she broke it. 

“Hello Kai,” Ali drawled, knowing that Kai can hear her perfectly well, her back still facing him. “Are the twins still alive?”

“we’ve got some company.” it’s been a few years since teddy found himself here, in this prison world - AND THERE HADN’T BEEN ANY NEWCOMERS SINCE HIMSELF, so the addition of the vampire and the...     well, useless enough witch     was certainly a bit of a shock. his eyebrows lifted just a touch as he tipped boiling water into the cup. HE’S WORKING MECHANICALLY, MAKING CUPS OF TEA FOR THE BOTH OF THEM, just like he usually did around this time of day.     kai didn’t seem to understand what tea time was when he showed up, but he’d continued the tradition as if by habit, and had more or less roped the other witch into it.     “t’s lookin’ like we’re going to have something to play with, innit?”

he made note of what the other said, figuring these artifacts must be of some importance. belongings seemed odd considering what he knew about kai. neither of them carried much on their travels. still, he wasn’t going to concern himself over anything he didn’t need to. at least for the time being, elijah was going to try and enjoy this quaint little town. maybe they’d actually see some other supernatural creatures for once. either way, it would be something for the two siphoners to keep themselves busy with. “i’d prefer you get blood bags, yes. so we can make a stop there too.” he knew the other needed to sustain himself. luckily, kai hadn’t yet resorted to using elijah for that purpose.

elijah scoffed at the other’s comment. “you aren’t going to let baywatch go, are you? i mentioned it one time, kai.” it wasn’t like elijah had hated seeing the group of lifeguards. it was one of the things he actually liked to remember from his childhood. he forgot how it had even come up between the two of them. it wasn’t like kai had ever forfeited a guilty pleasure of his own. well, at least not a pleasure he was guilty about. elijah stood up from his chair, taking a moment to push it in before turning toward his companion. “ready my liege?”

   “I’ve come up with an activity we can enjoy, are you willing to let me lead your every move?” brows raised her smirk now taking over her features.

“I do hate that about you!” Ali drawled, narrowing her eyes at the heretic across from her.  “I am just surprise that you can act human.” Its something Ali has not seen him being human since she has known him. “You...wanting to talk about something else rather than your murderous tendencies, did a witch put you under spell or something?” Ali mused, as she leaned back in her chair, raising her eyebrows. “Fine, what do you want to talk about?”
