The blonde vampire was sitting down on the couch, one of Stefan’s books in her lap and a glass of wine in her hand when she had smelt the blood first before her mother came in, covered in blood. When she had asked, her mother just shrugged her shoulders, saying it was nothing, before stating something about new hunters.
“Why were you near hunters? Did you do something to piss them off? Wait---it is you, after all.” Ali sighed, as her mother poured herself a drink and sat down beside her. Assuming this is going to be even a longer night, the blonde closed her book and put it on the coffee table where her mother’s feet are.
“They think that they know everything, but clearly don’t.” Ali drawled, highly amused by her mother’s insults about the new hunter’s combat skills. She stared at her mother’s bloody shirt, and thought, I wonder if the hunter survived after ruining her mother’s shirt, her train of thought was interrupted when her thought was answered and then her mother had asked her about her night.
“Not as interesting as yours, though.” Ali responded, taking a sip of her wine. “I did not have any run-ins with hunters, whether they were new or experienced, but I did get a taste of a gorgeous man that I had met at the bar.”
