Today is a very special day because two of the most important people were born. without both of these people, I never would have met my best friend, and I definitely wouldn’t have had the chance to spend all 22 years of my life with her.

A big, big, big happy birthday to both of our mommies! I'm very glad that they not only knew each other, but they were best friends too. Growing up with Jan basically as a second mother was one of the greatest parts of my childhood and I am so thankful I got to experience even that small amount of time with her.

She’d be so proud of you, Stefanie @wideeyeddeceiver, especially right now. Fuck what your brothers say, just know that your mom would be so incredibly amazed by the person you’ve become. She’d probably smack all three of your brothers upside the heads a few times for you, too. And she’d be so fucking happy that you have someone like Kyle to spend your life with.

And I know it’s not the same, but she is always with you, in everything you do, and I really hope you know that.
