Maybe it's just a case of time at this point? I think if you keep tweaking things over time you'll eventually settle on the look you want. I've found that sometimes that's the only way to go, you can't just make it work right away. The only other thing I can offer is looking at likeness drawing, it really helps with working out the structure of faces. I know you are tight for time though.

I’ve just never had thetime to tweek anything because I’ve been drawing nothing but ponies ponies ponies. Commissions, projects, characters, all ponies.

Maybe I can take some time to have ponies answer in human forms but I dunno.

I've seen quite a few people say ponies have messed up their ability to draw other things. I think what's happening is a separation of styles. For me, drawing ponies improved my art all round, because I integrated ponies into my style instead of learning a new one. Maybe you can do similar with your humans? Figure out a way to re-integrate your styles into one. Even if that means your ponies and humans both change?

I integrated how I draw humans in to ponies, and now I don’t like how I draw humans because I feel they’re too ‘anime’ when I don’t want them to be.

But in a more general style, I’m not sure which is mine at all. none of them quite look how I want people to look

This whole PPG thing reminds me of the "reboot" of Teen Titans. They even straight up attacked fans of the original show in one episode. This shit takes it up another notch and seems to just be shitting on everything they can with a big fuck you to everything the original stood for. I really hope the backlash is big, I hope it utterly destroys them. I don't even care at this point, just kill it with fire.

This is becoming a really gross trend, yes.

I hope the anger I expressed in my last ask didn't come across as I want harm to come to anyone or anything like that. I just hope the backlash actually gets heard, and considered. And I'm really sorry people are being stupid about you expressing yourself about this issue. It's pretty easy to see why this would be so upsetting to you.

I hope the backlash is real too.

The show writers can’t keep writing episodes like this and excusing them.

They can’t just piggyback on issues without properly studying them first.

I don't believe there are spirits or something like that, but I've had a lot of really strange stuff happen in my life. Stuff flying off walls, and hovering, I even ran into something in my hallway and bounced off it, only to blink and have it gone. I believe there's explanations for the things I've seen, but we haven't figured them out yet because people go "ooohhh ghosts!" and it makes it hard for real research to be done.

I feel like there are still many things we don’t understand, I believe for example that the 6th sense is real in certain cases because if you think in terms of evolutions there are many animals that have senses that humans don’t. The possibility of some humans having a mutation that gives them extra senses about things then doesn’t seem so odd.

In Christianity, the 6th sense is treated like devil work unless claimed to be divine, even though they are more or less the same thing. Visions of the future for example are no different than ‘prophetic dreams’, they just slapped on a safe label to it to make it from God. It doesn’t matter who or what you credit, the ability is still there.

As for ghosts and spirits, who knows. There could be creatures we don’t yet understand yet. They could be echoes of consciousness. They could be made up of energy. They could in fact be dead people. Or it could be something like a sound or energy that causes our minds to hallucinate or go in to a fight or flight mentality. (Like what sleep paralysis does to people)

It’s hard to say, and I’m not going to say for sure that ghosts do or don’t exist.

I will say that it’s just more fun to believe in ghosts, ultimately. Like a lot of legends out there, even if it’s not real, it’s still fun to go ‘what if?’

And I and many friends have had a lot of strange/unexplained experiences so it’s a little hard to just ignore it and brush it off, especially when in some cases multiple people witnessed/felt the same thing. 

I think maybe there’s something there. And maybe many times there isn’t. But until we figure it out, I wouldn’t want to say flat out ‘it’s ghosts’.
