I’m wlw and one of the worst things about most fandoms is that the wlw ships are super underwritten. Even fandoms with ships that almost everyone agrees should be cannon they are pushed to the side by the cishet girl audience for the mlm ship. Even when people do write it it’s usually just a side ship in the mlm ship focused story. Even for one of dsmp cannon couples with niki and puffy there are hardly any fics centered towards them.

Once again I will sing praises for the Overwatch fandom. Like yeah mlm ships are the majority but there’s so many wlw ships as well it’s great
