Especially when we are triggered or tired or at our wits end. My favorite thing about songwriting and you will hear 🙉 it from me time and time again and that is the ability to pour every anxiety every worry into a song. It allows me for a moment to silence the demons in my head even if only for a moment and a moment is long enough to start again. A moment is all it takes to reform our thinking and begin again. To begin the battle against that which tries to pick at us and tear us down time and time again. We are not machines we are sensitive beings that can only take so much before we crumble but we are also so resilient in the fact that we crumble just to climb the rubble and try again. That is strength it is not the failures that form us but that which we overcome. Next time your demons 👺 try to tell you you're no good, or you're weak, If I were you I'd stuff um in a trash can and drop them in the depths of the ocean somewhere.
