these were the pieces in the exhibition that really stood out to me. i think the more clean and simple the piece the more impact it has. it means it becomes more versatile and ambiguous to the viewer and allows more than one interpretation. The varying styles of art and painting styles have also influenced me to experiment with materials, and paint in more than just one painting style. I also think mixing different painting styles in one piece creates more interest and dynamism than by simply using one style. I also saw an artist which i will reference later, but i think will help me at dolphinholme.
