Today I find myself having profound gratitude for my former husband. We went different directions during my medical transition 15 years ago, but in the 6 years we journeyed side by side he showed me the essence of this quote: “Let your weird Light shine so the other wierdos know where to find you.” He was/is unabashedly himself, powerful and beautiful, graceful and grateful in how he walks through the world. And weird. We took adventures together neither of us could have taken alone, co-built tribes of friends and “real hockey teams” of the heart. Even our divorce held magic as we said goodbye under a he made of trees where he had proposed to me then went to the courthouse from a place of honor and delight. Today I am finding gratitude for him having been in my life, triggered by the body journey I am on, and breathe deep into that gratitude. Thank you Adam for having been part of my journey - blessings to wherever you are on your path. #Gratitude #GracefulDivorce #PastGifts #Wierdos #WierdosForLife https://www.instagram.com/p/CNI4rVgBHka/?igshid=1cr9115dw0sky
