Reminder to everyone who plays Animal Crossing: City Folk

While Nintendo did shut down WiiConnect24 on the 28th, you can still visit your friends' towns! The Wii uses Nintendo Wi-Fi Connect (WFC) to connect to other Wiis, NOT WiiConnect24. The the Nintendo WFC is still up and running! There seems to be some confusion about this.

Those who don't know, June 27th is the last day for Wiiconnect24. Services like the forcast and news channel are going down. I never got a message or contact on my wii and I might never be able to unless we change that now. My number is 4845 0802 7687 2058. Will anyone send me a message?

Hello hello, any City Folk players still around?

Okay, so I am like the only person out there who loves Animal Crossing to bits but doesn't have a 3DS. And I heard something like they're going to discontinue WiiConnect24 at the end of the month. I actually JUST got my wii in February (I've been playing AC for years, but at my best friend's house) so I'm still looking for some fruit...would anyone be willing to have some visits with me?

I have pear, orange, peach and coconut to offer, and would dearly love to have apple or cherry since those two were the town fruits I had started with in GCN (and so I can just get a lovely variety of fruit!!). I cross my fingers in hopes of finding some luck with this >___<

And of course, we can have a ball just going around meeting villagers, catching bugs, and fishing! C:
