Markanime last Wii U game is Pad of Time
On April 2022 the Wii U recieved one more game, It's Pad of Time, just before eShop closure
Pad of Time is a classic action-adventure game with a Nintendo 64 retro aesthetic with a twist! In this game you’re able to use a time machine to swap between past, present, and future of every level. Our main characters are ready to mess up with “the time-line” for their own benefits and face tough bosses.
There's also a Nintendo Switch version but the Wii U version has exclusive an exclusive feature, the entire game could be played with a gameboy look directly on the Wii U Gamepad, it's a nice tribute since it is the last Wii U game
The game has been developed by only one person as a side project, the only help he got was from two friends that made the music for him. If you are Wii U fan you might see familiar the visual style of the game, that’s because Markanime also develop El Silla a mini game published also on the Wii U. With the Wii U eShop closing this year 2022, Markanime decided to finish the development of Pad of Time and release what is mean to be the his last Wii U game.
