Beware of clickbait!
Saw this headline at Wiki of Thrones. (archived)
in the body of the article...
So I visited IMDB myself and they had no date listed.
All major filming for HotD is apparently complete. Though there may possibly be some minor re-shoots for scenes or fragments of scenes. The time frame for the latter being done is early February.
So the April 3rd premiere date published at Wiki of Thrones implies that only about 60 days of post-production are anticipated. That would sound unrealistic even during normal times. In a pandemic the process is likely to take more time rather than less time.
Some context: For Game of Thrones, the shortest period between the end of production and a season premiere was Season 2 (111 days). The interval for Season 4 was the longest of the first six seasons (136 days).
So I just checked the official Twitter of House of the Dragon and the HBO Max site for the series. There’s nothing at either regarding a series premiere date. Just these words on top: | Coming Soon |.
Be careful about any unrealistic sounding information you find. There’s a good chance it’s dodgy clickbait.
Please pass this information on to anybody who may already be quoting that April 3rd date.
