wikiaddicted723 replied to your post: its like marvels like well bucky you were happy...
how long was tbolts supposed to last? Cause this would be a good time to eject him from that team once and for all and GIVE HIM A SOLO TITLE WORTH MY MONEY.
I DONT KNOW BUT I WISH I DID like no one at marvel bothered to tell anyone that black widow was only billed for 12 issues god forbid they tell us if tbolts is going to continue to just...kinda...........exist.
wikiaddicted723 replied to your photo: Not to get dramatic but I would literally rather...
No no, that’s not dramatic. That’s a valid response. Hopefully we’ll get a woman writing? Or like, someone who thinks women are people at least.
i would give my life for liu to get back on a black widow solo but yeah, as long as its a competent writer thats all i ask tbqh
wikiaddicted723 replied to your post: i dont know what to say to you guys. this feels...

I know! It's on my list. Will watch as some point. I have had no contact w/ the RC fandom. I liked the first book. Struck me as particularly good YA fiction. Will let you know about the rest.
YOU DO THAT. report back bc i am genuinely intrigued.
also my dude. my dude. there are 71 episodes of critical role. they are each at least three hours long. now i practically failed high school maths but like. that is A Lot of content. there is a new one every week.
what i am saying is: the sooner you start the better. for all of us. i want to see the fic you write. so much fic fodder.

I had the same initial impression. I just finished the first book and have begun the second. The characters are awesome, the female character(s)--plural, the majority of them secondary but for the main character, Blue--take no shit, the boys are nuanced and believable 17-18 year olds. The magic in it is sometimes so low-key you forget you're reading urban fantasy. Also there are copious references to arthurian lore & welsh myth, the books are structured as mysteries.
yeah idk, i’ve mostly heard nothing but scorn for the whole thing, but whether that’s directed at the fandom rather than the text i don’t know. also i tend to travel in pretty scorn-filled circles anyway. i, myself, am composed of at least 60% scorn.
so i remain unswayed. if i want tarot card & arthurian lore nonsense, i generally reread susanna clarke’s stuff tbh. i will probably read them at some point, when i don’t have a to-read list 30 pages long. i am open to being convinced tho.
also my dude, my pal, my dearest bud: i will deflect this back at you and say that you really, really need to watch critical role.
