I am very interested in learning more about your wild!AU

Thank you for your interest in this AU! It really warms my heart 💜

The thing is, I don't really have a strict plot for it. I have scenes in my head and a general concept of "Rose under the influence of Scratch/the Dark Presence." Because (I love coming up with sad stories) that's what I find interesting. And, of course, all the events are a hodgepodge of everything from the Alan Wake media. So, let me try to describe this AU a bit. Overall mood: dark, mad, mistrustful, and viscous.

Rose — is still a bit more "not herself" after being touched by the Dark Presence. But not in a positive, joyfully-searching-for-signs-from-Alan way, but rather a sadder, more withdrawn version of her. She doesn't fully believe what happened and is trying to move on. But in the vicinity of the lake, she keeps seeing a familiar silhouette, and she thinks she's going completely insane.

Scratch — in his AWAN form. Calculating, brazen, cold, bloodthirsty, and will stop at nothing to reach his goal. Rose is the perfect tool: broken enough to be influenced again; innocent enough that no one would suspect her. Plus, she can be taught to shoot, because he won't do it himself. No love, at most the slightest bit of attention, just to keep her from struggling too much. He has to compel her gently, through the promise of fulfilling a secret dream. Or he can just turn everything upside down in her head and arrange a hunt. He is the voice from the television, the noise in her head, the showman and the director.

Alan — same as ever, haha. Maybe a little more tired and serious. He's trying to get out, and who knows by what methods. Maybe he managed to remember the girl in the red uniform? And even her name. Still deeply loves his wife.

Alice — like in the first AW game. She misses Alan, tries to find him, moves on with her life, takes pictures, and is no longer afraid of the dark. She sometimes texts with Rose. . And yes, not all questions are left open to create mystery, but because I haven't decided myself and/or don't know what else could be there.

Saga, Casey, and other cool characters are also present, but obviously, I'm more interested in thinking about Rose's fate and adventures. I only know that even with all this grimness, I can't allow a bad ending for my favorite girl. Of course, she'll be... okay. The evil will be defeated, and the good will begin to recover. . So, that's about it! I'm always happy to answer any questions if you have them.

Honestly, for once it would be nice if one of the other yokai did this but he got why he was always the one to go up to the shrines. Placing a hand against his head he sighed making his way up the steps.

However he quickly realized as he got closer that the shrine was empty... At least as far as he was aware, there wasn't a single light in the place and he didn't sense anyone around-

Maybe this would be easier than he thought? Walking up to the front doors he slid them open; Yup looked pretty empty to him, although the rest of them weren't going to show up until he made sure "... And here I was hoping for a pretty shrine maiden at least" Mizuki whispered to himself. Oh well, there might still be something worth taking here.
