So I ran into something neat a while ago. Pictured are both Blackchin Tilapia, except the entire wild group I encountered on the left are short bodied. I think this is the first short body tilapia I've seen. Apparently it's not crazy uncommon for the black chins but it's wild to see a whole group of shortbody fish at the beach. The fish on the right is a typical depiction of a mature male of this species.
