Has anybody else here attended a lingerie shower? Because those are CRAZY. Most of the time the bride opens regular pajamas and every now and again it’s “oooo thats a cute new bra!!”
And then there’s the 93 year old great grandma sitting there smiling as the bride opens up this lacy, barely-there, covered in leather straps garment you’ve ever laid eyes on and goes “that one is from me, dear :)”
Is this a universal experience??

was at a local coffee shop w my roommate today and the barista noticed my tattoo and was like neil! and i was like yeah! :D and then they asked me if my parent is a therapist and i was like Yess? lmfao my mom used to be their fucking therapist and my mom talked about it once
The way that there genuinely is just a lot of kids who turn a certain age and become little assholes makes it so much worse. Like Bruce is like "kids just become haters sometimes chum, don't take it personally" meanwhile Tim just lost everything
No but seriously- coming from a big family watching dozens of kids grow up, theres always this "switch" moment growing up- or well two.
The first being when a kid first really becomes "sentient" you start to see who they are, even if just loose bits and pieces, the outline of a sense of identity.
The second? They're a full person and now the full consequence (for better or worse) how they've been raised. A solid identity has been formed.
Like after that second switch you're constantly changing and growing but never again as DARASTIC a change in such a short period of time from what ive noticed.
AND Y E A H- though that lecture was more towards Jason for other reasons, its still a version of "reality" Bruce tried to explain to his kids. Of course is he right? In this case no. But detective is not synonymis with omnipotent.

like regardless of their actual following or popularity, it feels like chilling in the local corner store with your gaggle of several friends/acquintances and store regulars youve come to recognize and then an actual fucking celebrity walks in. like what am i supposed to do here. im peeping from behind the magazine stands as they buy what they need. im flabbergasted. noone else is shaken like i am. i will tell everyone about this like im being threatened vua chain email
