Wildcards have probably been called robots all their lives Bc they hide their emotions, so they hate it so much when someone calls them that. It would hurt 10x more if it came from their friends or S/O. So, Wildcard keeps going into Wildcard Mode and then their friends like... jokingly call them a robot and then the wildcard hates everything and cries and then the friends comfort Wildcard.
I mean, I can see that more for some than others, especially Minato than others. I think it’s implied Ren actually emoted before being traumatized by the arrest, Hamuko’s defining trait is she responds to her trauma through cheeriness, and Yu... Ok I can see Yu also being called a robot.
But if that was the case, I can see them being hurt by their friends using that as a joke, and hiding it until their friends realize something is off and comforts them.

Mina/Ham/Yu/Ren have definitely at some point gone to fight shadows with a super high fever and/or a crippling migraine. Their friends are super pissed off and giving them lectures because “DUDE WHAT THE HELL?! YOU’RE SO SICK WHY DID YOU TELL US TO GO FIGHT SHADOWS!” “...Because I didn’t want to inconvenience anyone.” “YOU’RE OUR FRIEND. BEING SICK WILL NOT INCONVENIENCE US.”
They WOULD do this and it always ends with soup and a 50 page powerpoint titled FOR THE LOV OF GOD TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF

Minato’s solution is usually to taking a running jump at Yu so, Yu’ll catch him. Then they kiss

Wouldn’t it be cool if the wildcards could like. Channel their friends and then be able to summon their friend’s persona and be able to channel the friend for a short period of time? Like, Mina needing to be as terrifying and attention-grabbing as Mitzi so he thinks of her and focuses all his attention on her and Penthilisea, after which he connects and then acts like Mitsuru Bc Penthilisea is guiding him. Idk I thought this would be really cool.
Oh that would legit be awesome. I’m just picturing a scene where the protag is alone and pulls a Kingdom Hearts “MY FRIENDS ARE MY POWER” and the summon all of their friends’ Personas.
Honestly, it’s a little weird we haven’t gotten that yet.
