This is a basic reference/character sheet for Evelyn.  I’m really happy with it and I hope it’ll help anyone who wants to draw or write about Evelyn! (And help me be more consistent when drawing her)

Finding out the Truth

Nick and Judy never really told her about the.. Bad things about the Night Howlers case. They left out details such as them almost getting iced by a mafia boss, them almost falling to their deaths, them blowing up a train and almost dying... And the press conference. They were very careful not to let Evelyn read about it or see it, seeing how she was a victim of prejudice and bullying herself, just because of what she is. 

Judy has always been a beacon of equality in Evelyns’ eyes, so seeing her mother in that situation and hearing her say those words was.... Well, it wasn’t easy. Brought back a lot of bad memories and opened up a number of old wounds. Not something she’ll get over in a jiffy..

Evelyn had trouble with being bullied at her old school. Instead of simply having her tough it out while it was being investigated and sorted out, Nick and Judy had her moved to a school on the outskirts of Zootopia, hopefully getting away from the worst of the inner city attitude.

Nick has trust issues though.

Teenage years                  Tantrum - Motherly comfort - Reconciliation

It’s safe to say that life with a hormonal teenager fox/rabbit hybrid can be trying at times. Especially when you try to get her to dress reasonably for her age.

Trying to get a hormonal teenager to understand the dangers of the world without explicitly telling her what could happen isn’t easy. But in time, she’ll understand.

It’s like a roller coaster, having a teenager. Just one you can’t get off, or replace with anything else in the entire world.

Judy: She’s YOUR daughter tonight.

Nick: Why mine?!

Judy: Because I need to catch and charge whoever gave our minor daughter alcohol before you maim them.

Nick: .... Fair enough.
