Every December for the past few years, I make a donation to Wildlife Aid (I would love to donate more in general, but my funds are limited) For those who are unfamiliar, they are a British animal centre dedicated to rescuing, releasing, and educating about wild animals, run only on volunteer work. They are my go-to when learning about being respectful and mindful of our wildlife. Here are a couple of videos of theirs that show what they do:
However, earlier this year I learned that the founder, Simon was diagnosed with a terminal form of cancer. For the future of his foundation and generations of animals, he'll have to relocate the centre from his home, and so he started a project to develop on a new location for the centre to continue its work. The project started a few years ago, but has been delayed by Covid, and he'll need help with funding.
I would appreciate it if anyone reading this could donate or spread the word, since everybody, myself included, would like to see the goal reached very soon. Currently it's at 10% as of December 2022.
