Oh requests are still open? Okieeee uh this one is a highly unrealistic request but… Zak x RiderHuman! Reader? Like I know that would never happen… but it’s fun to dream right?

Oh boy. This is gonna be interesting. Well, headcanons under the cut.

Zak would be the last tug everyone would think of to fall in love with a human. However, with you being his Rider, they seem to understand.

He doesn't hesitate to give out violent threats to make sure not one single soul messes with you. You're pretty safe with him.

He has a lot of self control when it comes to other humans around him. He doesn't have the greatest reputation when it comes to humans.

He's surprisingly sweet and caring with you, always silently watching from a distance, making sure you're safe and sound.

He may not feel like he's always there for you, but trust me, he is. He's very attentive to your body language and needs.

The instant he sees something is wrong, he immediately drops everything to help.

He considers Wildmask to be his niece, so guess what? You're an aunt/uncle to her too.

He always reminds you that if you need anything or need help that you can always call for him and he will be there within an instant.

Zak sees Zebedee as a brother figure to him, so you're going to be treated like a sibling by Zebedee.

He's super laid back and easy going outside of work. Super chill.

Just a surprise to find out that the toughest and most aggressive Zed-Stack is actually secretly soft and sweet.

Any uh- Zebedee headcannons or scenarios (again same situation having a human crush that works down at the docks but is kinda hesitant with going around the tugs after the curse bc i loved the last ones sm 😭)

Of course! Gotta love the soft Z-Stack.

Zebedee kind of had a crush on you for a really long time, but he’s so reserved, and hard to read, no one could ever guess it.

He is terrible at hiding his crush on you, stammering as he talks to you sometimes, even acting bashful on occasion. It’s so painfully obvious, and you think it’s adorable, but you feel reluctant to approach him because Zed-Stacks have a reputation for being man-eaters.

However, seeing how much he cares for Wildmask, and the fact he practically adopted her as his own does help in mustering up the courage to approach him. If he’s this gentle with his precious little one, then he may be just as gentle and caring with you.

Wildmask would absolutely talk to you while she’s with Zebedee, telling you how sweet he really is, much to Zebedee’s embarrassment. You find it adorable when he blushes.

He can and will protect you from the other Zed-Stacks. He has probably protected you from Zak and Zorran once or twice. He’s the strongest Zed-Stack, and he knows it.

When you gain the courage to come up close, he’s genuinely surprised, but makes sure to take it slow, not wanting to ruin his chances with you. Wildmask is occasionally in his company, hiding out under his hat, other times she is watched over by the other Zed-Stacks, giving both you and him some much needed alone time.

He is absolutely in shock when you climb aboard, speechless at first, but he quickly welcomes it.

He may be rough around the edges, but deep down, he is the biggest cuddler anyone has ever seen. He’s always gentle, and always purring, which helps you relax after work.

Sometimes he takes you to the same place where he and Shadowpelt first met. That place has a very special meaning to him, so to have him take you there is a clear sign that he loves you.

However, he will not mention Shadowpelt unless asked. Just be sure to be there for him because even talking about her is hard for him even years after her death.

You are guaranteed safe with him, knowing he would protect you to the very end, just as how he protects his precious Rider.

He will give you gentle nuzzles, and may groom you, and no, you can’t stop him. He will make sure you know that you are loved, and that he cherishes you with all of his heart.

He is just the softest Zed-Stack anyone has ever seen, and will do anything to make sure you’re safe, and warm.

Were-cat!Zeb One Shot

For @cindercat01 , not sure if this is what you had in mind with the ask with Zebedee being a poppa cat to Wildmask, but it's finally done nonetheless.

Zebedee looked down at the were-kitten nestled into his fur on his side, purring softly, and smiling. He gently licked the top of her head, waking the were-kitten up. The were-kitten immediately lifted her head, and yawned, making a soft squeaking sound. She opened her eyes, revealing two beautiful emerald eyes, the same eyes as her now departed mother.

Zebedee gently nuzzled the kitten, purring softly and holding her protectively close to his body with his tail. His back is turned to the outside world as he’s laying down, using his own body to shield his precious child from the chilly winds of the night, and using his body heat to keep her warm.

Wildmask, the were-kitten, snuggled into his side, purring softly. It was a sweet sight to the bigger were-cat. She gave him something worth fighting for, love. He grooms the little kitten. Her brown, and black fur getting a little scruffy in the process. She returned the favor by grooming his side, his back and brown fur tickling her nose, making her sneeze.

He chuckled softly, and held her close to his chest, shielding her from the elements, any potential dangers that may threaten his oh so precious child, the living embodiment of his mate, who had passed only a few months prior. Wildmask immediately snuggles into his black, and brown fur before yawning, and purring in contentment, feeling safe in her father’s gentle and warm embrace. It was a reminder that he would always be there for her, and will always protect her, no matter what.

He glanced at the other dock workers for the fleet he was a part of. They were all snuggled together in a pile, keeping warm. He chose to stay away from the pile until his kitten had gotten bigger and able to snuggle with the others without the fear of her being squashed under them. He readjusts his hold on her before licking her head once more, giving her a goodnight kiss. Wildmask immediately licked the side of his face, returning the goodnight kiss, making him chuckle softly.

He curled protectively around his precious kitten, waiting for her to fall asleep. Wildmask was asleep within minutes, soothed by the warmth, purring, and the sound of her father’s heartbeat. He smiled softly before he too fell asleep.

I just had a brain-child hit me. What would happen if the tugs got catnip? Would they be as high as their stacks? What sort of funny things would happen? Like them running into things, them purring really loudly, saying stupid things like- "I don't have any hands! Halp!" Or even then, give some to Wildmask. There's no way Zero hasn't at least thought of that/wondered it.

Actually, I do have a concept that's essentially catnip for tugs. It's a small reddish orange weed called Fireweed.

This little plant has a scent that can't be smelled by humans, but tugs can and absolutely love it. If you want to attract every tug in the port, just carry some in your pocket or rub some on your skin.

If a tug is exposed to this plant, they will become more playful, and energetic. While some just rub thier cheeks against whatever has the scent of fireweed on it, or even lick it. They essentially turn into big cats behavior wise.

As for Wildmask getting catnip, more likely than you think. She gets very energetic, and can and will run around, and climb all over everything until it finally wears off and she passes out from exhaustion. Either that, or she'll just stare at the sky or wall at who knows what.

But with tugs and fireweed, youmay get a reaction like this. Especially from Zorran or Zip.
