042817 “Jojie” by Mark Rodriguez Been wanting to get this ever since dad passed.. and now that I got my degree, I made sure to have it done right away. Happy that I made the right choice of picking Wild Ones Tattoo to do it for me. First tatt experiences tend to have its VIP Passes to our treasure chests, and mine, luckily, is definitely for keeps. Maybe this really was meant to be cos I happen to have found the perfect tattoo buddies – Vince and Micah. Everything worked out as we imagined it! From the roadtrip singing to the pre-tatt drinking till the post-tatt crying (hi Vince! Hahah). WE THE COOL KIDS FROM THE SOUTH UH HUH 🤙 The artists were a relief to us three, thank God! They helped us with the designs and everything. They were very attentive.. made sure that we won’t be regretting this big step in our lives. Plus the ambiance was very comforting! They rode along with our jokes, and cracked good ones, too. THE MOMENT OF TRUTH. The needle’s pricks were really painful, added the fact that I chose my right rib for my tattoo (heard it’s one of the most painful areas to get one). It’s like they’re cutting you open slowly, delicately. But mind you, it’s the kind of pain that would make you want more! Weird, right? My artist, Mark, was very supportive through the process, though. He was kinda complimenting me for being calm. It really helped a lot! I was like, “No dude I am not calm I am dying inside but yeah go ahead you said I’m doing good so yeah do it more” deep inside hahaha! An artist like him was what a first-timer like me needed. He finished my 4x2 tatt in an hour ❤️ I was so relaxed after hearing he’s done… until he splashed it with alcohol!! Oh, gosh, IT. WAS. HELL.. a hundred times more painful than getting the tatt itself!! Arghhh all I could do was cover my face and groan in pain haha. They were all laughing at me saying that despite my toughness earlier, I also ended up whimpering hahaha. I was nervous to look at it when I stood up, but when I got in front of the mirror, I was stunned. I fell in love with it from that moment on! ❤️😭 It was (still is and forever will be) beautiful. Thank you, Mark. For the rest of Wild Ones Tattoo, Janrod & Iggyboy, I thank you also for taking care of me and my buddies. We are very grateful for giving us such a golden moment to reminisce! 💛 We sure will be coming back for more. 😊
