"There are a lot of you here. Why?"
Riley hesitated at first before speaking watching her words more carefully. "She's four her names Cassie, she's a hybrid too" She said folding her arms once more before looking at Erica with a serious face again. "She's a telepathic and she has epilepsy too" She muttered the last part, she didn't know how to handle the whole 'child' situation but the whole 'bad mouth Riley' caught her ears. "What did he say?"
Erica listened carefully, nodding at times to show Riley had her interest when divulging information about Cassie. At the finaly question, she frowned slightly and muttered, "About how you got pregnant at 14, and what a whore you are, that you're trouble and a bunch of shit you don't deserve, okay?"
Riley knew there was no point of lying to Erica when she already had known the truth. Riley covered her face with her hands running them over here face before looking at the girl. "Okay curly who told you?" She asked putting a serious face on even if she had called Erica by her nickname it didn't mean she was joking, it was a serious matter-- to Riley at least.
"It was some disgusting anon trying to badmouth you. Don't worry, I didn't believe a word he said, anyway. Well, 'cept for the kid-part," she explained, watching her supposedly best friend closely.
Riley's eyes widened her mouth opening to say something but nothing came out, way too go. She cleared her throat thickly, "N --" Riley paused, what was the point of hiding? "You never answered my question" She inquired folding her arms over her chest changing the subject quickly. "How's life hanging?"
Cocking one brow when the other seemed to want to lie to her, she smiled a little victorious when Riley decided not to, although the change in subject wasn't subtle or appreciated either. "Low and to the left. Or so I hear."
Riley ran her thumb over her bottom lip looking a Erica for a fee moments before smiling. "Just an old friend came around really happy to see her" She commented, looking around before her gaze fell back to Erica. "Are you okay?"
Nodding tersely, she kept her eyes on the other, refusing to look away, and already having a suspicion who this friend might be, she decided not to beat around the bush and just ask, "Your daughter, right? I heard about that."
Ril shook her head a small chuckle of her own escaping her lips, "Nopeee, I just wanted to say hi!" She beamed more bubbly then her usual behavior.
"Alright," Erica answered hesitantly, still unsure of what to make of Riley's behavior. "Hi...Are you feeling okay, Ri?"
"Cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurles" Riley whined with a small smirk.
Erica looked at her friend in disbelief, her eyebrows lifting for a moment, before she chuckled softly, "Are you drunk?"

Erica likes Riley, even giving her a little nickname, but at times she wishes things could be simpler for them. It seems like Riley only calls on her when she needs help and although they party after, it still feels like she's being taken advantage of.
Nonetheless, she sees the girl as a friend and is protective of her, because once in Erica's heart it's hard to be pushed out.
