For once, Tadashi was happy to be working in the cafe. A lot of the time he and Hiro thought of it as a chore, but today, seeing as how it was bucketing down on the streets of San Fransokyo, Tadashi could definitely see the benefits of his duty. Speaking of Hiro, he had left half an hour ago to pick up 'a couple of parts' for 'a project' that Tadashi would most likely question, and there was no way he had escaped this. The elder brother was quite looking forward to seeing the damp form smothered by Aunt Cass and drowned in Hot Chocolate while the object of attention scowled in silent irritation.
Out of the corner of his eye, he could see a lone man sitting at one of the tables. The cafe was busy today as a result of the unfortunate downpour, and so he expected that that was the reason the man was here as well. The only difference was, the others sheltering from the rain had all bought something, if not food then at least a hot beverage. This customer however, had remained in his seat from the moment he arrived, and Tadashi was starting to wonder whether or not he should approach him, when he stood up suddenly. Tadashi quickly moved his gaze back to the till so that it didn't look as though he'd been staring.
