Sapphire hues shift down and he releases a sigh, hologram rippling with the action. “I... I’m fine, Miranda, really. ” He deflects, gaze shifting off to the side, feeling guilty for even doing so. He sighs, looking back to her, “alright... I get it. I’ve been mopey, and I’m sorry. I promise it’s not about you or anything like that, it’s just... ever since that night with that... holon, things have just felt... unsafe. I constantly feel like I have to watch my back, y’know?” He admits.

Yang wasn't sure what to get Viridian, but she settled on something she hoped her girlfriend would like: a silver ring that looked like dragon claws, something different but still a nice touch from the blonde. She's grinning & her lavender eyes are wide when she presses a kiss to the other's forehead & sets the small box in hand. "Happy Valentine's Day, Vi. I hope you like it."

To be honest, Viridian wasn’t quite sure what to get Yang either. After all, their relationship was still fresh, they were still figuring things out about each other. That didn’t mean she wasn’t going to get her girlfriend something! Viridian was the sentimental type, the person that LOVED holidays of all kinds. And THIS was the first Valentine’s Day that she wasn’t spending by herself, and she was so happy, so grateful to have met Yang. And admittedly, she went all out on her own gift.

She had chocolates, a card, and a bath set of lavender scented products that she herself liked all wrapped up in a box with a golden bow on top, all ready to go when they exchanged their gifts.

“You know I’ll love it...” The shorter girl replies as she accepts the box, carefully opening it with a smile on her face that grows even bigger as soon as she sees what’s inside. “Oh my goodness, Yang! It’s so pretty!” She exclaims, looking back up at the blonde with an approving nod. 

She puts it on, holding her hand away from her to get a better look of how it appeared against her porcelain skin. “Thank you Yang,” she whispers tenderly, “Happy Valentine’s Day....”

It's just another special day for the two of them, the tigress having gotten him a gift awhile back just for this occasion. She has a red box in hand when she takes a seat beside August, smiling widely as she leans against him & holds it out in the palm of her hand. "Happy Valentine's Day, love." Inside was a leather corded bracelet with a tiger charm hanging from it, just another small trinket to remind him of her when they're apart.

If Rowan was a simple person to please, then August was the most simple being on Remnant ever.

To August, every passing day of his life spent with the most amazing blessing of a person he had ever met was just a reason to celebrate in itself. Valentine’s Day was just another day for them. However, that still didn’t stop them from getting each other gifts for today.

August is visibly excited even when he begins opening her gift, gasping when he pulls it out to admire. “Oh WOW.... Thank you so much, Aurora, it’s beautiful!” The spider faunus happily exclaimed as he held the bracelet in his hand, tenderly turning it over to examine it more closely. “Really... It’s beautiful. Thank you...”

He turns to her, leaning in to give her a happy kiss on the lips. “I’ll need some help puttin’ it on...” August said with a grin. “Ya’ll know I’m gonna be wearin’ this all the time...”

“N’ I hope you like my gift too....” His gift for her was a personalized book for her, all braille, with their names emboldened on the cover, raised text that she’d be able to feel, with the shape of a spider right next to it.

🔢- How many servers are they in?

He’s in a good chunk of servers. There’s a server that the whole base shares, there’s one with his old friends, there’s a gaming server with Migas, Leon and Jodie, there’s the gen:LOCK team server. A lot of people invite him to servers the more they get used to him being back, and he makes the servers more lively.

“It’s weird. I never thought I could feel like this, but you showed up. Now, it’s like I don’t wanna go on knowing I might lose the feeling.” (zith, after they’re reunited?)

it was either weird or cruel that fate would throw her back into zithandra’s life not just once but twice since the red haired woman had left the slums. their first reunion hadn’t exactly been at a good point in kahili’s life- rather it’d been at what was arguably her lowest. now, a few years later and a lot more lessons learned, the two women sat together much as they had when they were children but arguably with a lot more than innocent friendship between them. 

kahili had been vague at best at answering zith’s questions about her current life, how she was getting on. it wasn’t as if she could really outright say she was part of the white fang after all, not when zithandra was a huntress. and as much as she might have hoped she didn’t expect the other woman to understand the path that’d led her to joining the organization or her reasons for staying with them, in actively taking part in attacks that left people dead.

and she was more afraid than she would admit aloud that when zithandra realized that, she would turn and leave her all over again. only this time it would be for good.

no one in their right mind would. the slums were no place to raise a child and zith’s parents, from what little kahili could tell based on having no experience of it firsthand herself, loved her and wanted her to have a good life. that had to have been one of her dad’s motivating factors in starting up his own business after all. and kahili knew she should be happy for her friend, and she was- but it was hard not to also feel a bit sad and a bit jealous. first sun found out he was getting to go to mistral, and now even zith was getting the chance to get out ? she wanted so badly for it to be her turn, to have some miracle drop in her lap and give her a way out- but that wasn’t realistic. that was why her brother tetsu worked so hard in the mines, because he knew that the only way either of them would ever have any kind of shot of getting out of the slums was through working and doing whatever was necessary to earn the money. she was still a kid and there wasn’t much she could do aside from pick pocket and steal what she could- but eventually she’d be useful to tetsu. she had to be.
