Christmas is Coming!
I know it's not even December yet, so view this as more of a 'heads up' post.If I don't organise early (ish) all the best events are fully booked.
Here's a quick edit of our best bits to book for Christmas !
My friend Deb gave me the heads up on these fantastic Christmas cards from a charity called Trekstock (@trekstock) that supports young people with cancer. I've ordered these on line, by Will Broome (@williambroome) who does collaborations with Marc Jacobs ,I LOVE them ! There are 2 more designs by Kate Moross & Gizzi Erskine, click here to order.
Hackney Empire(@HackneyEmpire) do the best Panto in London every year ( in our opinion ) ! This year it's Dick Whittington, expect great costumes, loads of local references, terrible jokes & great sing-a-long songs ! An essential Christmas outing , click here for tickets.
Every year we go skating at Somerset House,( @SomersetHouse) it's the best skating location in London, such a stunning building, the Tiffany decorated tree, the Tiffany cup cakes, I love it( although I don't think Tiffany are the sponsors this year)! We usually go for the first session, it's worth getting a skate guide if you can't skate although they assume you've booked them for the kids! There is still good availability for early sessions and it costs about £47.30 for 2 adults & 2 kids, click here for more info.
It's a Christmas classic that's always booked up whenever I go to book it ! This ENO production of the Nutcracker is on at the Coliseum and there are still £35 tickets available between Christmas & New Year, click here for more info.
I think I'm already too late to get tickets for Matilda, might keep that for a Easter treat !
The kids love Horrible Histories, we went to see The Terrible Tudors at Hackney Empire which was fantastic, so Barmy Britain at the Garrick Theatre(@Garrick_Theatre) looks like a good bet for Christmas ! Click here for more info.
Latke Who Couldn't Stop Screaming is at the Camden Round House (@RoundhouseLND) & looks good fun!
59 Minutes to Save Christmas is an interactive performance at the Barbican(@BarbicanCentre) , click here for more info.
I love Matthew Bourne so would love to see Sleeping Beauty at Sadlers Wells, click here for more !
That's enough for now !

P.S. loves the work of illustrator Will Broome, and is very excited to hear that he is to launch a range with Topshop. Launching on the 21st of April, Broome has designed a range of vests (£22) tee's (£25) and tunics (£30) featuring his trademark graphic style. To promote the range Broome will be hosting an illustration workshop, at the Topshop branch in Meadowhall shopping centre in Sheffield; on Saturday 19th April between 1pm and 5pm. Where he will be illustrating techniques on pumps, and tee's as well as teaching customisation methods.
