i was packing my lunch and my cat was meowing incessantly at my dad's door and i had the brief half-asleep thought of 'cats are silly and pathetic, i want one' before realizing that i have a cat
but then i started thinking
will in the hospital, technically conscious but drugged to the goddamn gills, muttering about random things. but then he blurts out 'chiltons are silly and pathetic, i want one'

Will Graham is a Wind-Runner, specifically a Flidaisin (werestag). [yeah shut up. i was gonna make him a mage but he didn't want to be a mage he wanted to be a stag so here we are].
Season 1 Will leaned toward the Wind-Chaser accord, skirting outside both of his societies and preferring solitude to mull over dreams and nightmares. Season 2 Will embraces the Heart-Ripper accord. He wants to lure Hannibal in with impeccable social skills and then ram his antlers through the goddamn wolf (the ramming is more metaphorical, but if it comes down to it....) Down at his core he's likely more of a Den-Warder. He has a strong sense of family (though it is an odd family) and would protect it ferociously.
S1 Will was way out of harmony with his Beast. He rarely shifted and the encephalitis didn't exactly help the Harmony either. S2 Will is in tune with his Beast, though not nearly as much as Freddie. She accepts that the fox is as a part of her as her arm; Will views the stag as a tool. He changes into his feral form to run with his dogs and to keep this harmony.
The stag in his visions represents his beast as much as anything else. Hence the fact initially it was a horrific nuisance, but now he uses it to fantasy murder Hannibal.
His main gift is Pack Bond, though the fact that his chosen pack is dogs would confuse most other of his species. Pack Bond allows short bursts of mental communication and allows a Pack member to send out a mental distress signal to others of the Pack. He also has Unsettling Eye, which shuts down any staring contests by staring at the opponent with the full force of his Beast. The person on the receiving end of this suddenly gets the subconscious vision of being run through by a giant stag.

Who’s the messiest one: Will, in an 'organized chaos' sort of way. This drives Chilton up the wall, mainly because he can see no rhyme or reason to the madness. He has decided Will actually has no organization method, just an impeccable memory.
Who feels the most uncomfortable about PDA: Chilton is more uncomfortable about being shown affection in public. He has a public persona that he feels would be tarnished by that sort of thing. Will wasn't particularly into public displays of affection anyway, so he didn't mind that much.
Who’s the funniest drunk: Chilton. He tends to act like he's in a musical when drunk. Will is certain that Chilton actually has a half-decent voice, but it does not show the moment alcohol hits his system.
Who texts the most: They both text in equal amounts and do it only for quick little statuses like 'will be late' or 'pick up milk'. Chilton does do a lot of work on his phone when he can't get to a laptop, which perturbs Will because the only time Frederick is away from the computer is when Will wants him to take a break and relax.
Who has the most embarrassing taste in music: Chilton thinks his taste for showtunes is super embarrassing, but it's really not.
Who reads the most: Chilton would read more than Will, if he had the time for it. It always seems like he's busy doing something, which leads Will to wonder whether it will ultimately be a heart-attack that defeats his little human cockroach. Then he thinks that Frederick would hate the lack of drama and casually closes Chilton's laptop before forcing a book into his hands.
Who’s better with kids: Will, although he tends to follow dog logic when dealing with them. Chilton views them as little aliens that should not be around him. Ever.
Who’s the one that fixes things around the house: Will. He had to learn to fix things because he lives in the middle of nowhere and it takes repairmen awhile to get there. Frederick is so bad at fixing things he often breaks the thing he's trying to fix further.
Who’s got the weirdest hobby: Unless you count stray dog collecting as a hobby, neither of them have a particularly strange hobby.
Who cooks and who cleans up: They alternate; they're both fairly decent cooks.
