Honestly, as an American, I find this all to be weak. For all the complaints about the current or past monarchs, you'd get the same complaints about an elected head of state every four to six years or whatever.

That said, yes, William IS incompetent and dumb. I have no doubt that he can actually read. He reads his speeches that are written by other people. However, he has no interest in the wider world. His only interest is going on vacation ALL THE TIME. Finishing up week 17 of his annual vacation as I type this!
