I'm up a mountain with patchy signal but this is important - it would have been good to have at least one throwaway line of Az offering the bookshop (that they both get plenty of use out of) spare room to Crowley but it's Crowleys weird feelings that resulted in that arrangement being the way it is. I don't know, maybe Crowley doesn't want to feel like Aziraphales in-need project, or being that close every day was just too loving and overwhelming, but I just feel like Crowley wants to maintain a certain amount of pining distance because he's an overdramatic snake whose plants don't get enough light in the bookshop, and being surrounded by Aziraphale's beaming love all the time is making him insane. AnywY, he has stayed but doesn’t choose to live , but I could have still used a line like Gabriel going 'this room has a bed, I've never sat on a bed' and Crowley slams the door and responds 'it's memory foam, and it only remembers me, understood?'
