It’s like I want to talk about Vampire Knight with people, but then it’s like... ew fandom. I’d rather not...

I want to clarify: zekiship was not created to be politically correct, or to sit idly by as individuals formed alliances, or spread fallacies about this fandom and its individuals. 

When this account was first created, it was to move the fandom in a conversational direction, so that zeki shippers could speak out publicly and freely about their opinions on Vampire Knight. 

This made zekiship into a personal “vk fandom newsroom”, so-to-speak, which prompted me to reveal my identity to this fandom, and work hard to provide informational content and entertainment to my followers. It was fun and enjoyable. I don’t expect praise or thankfulness: it’s just the truth of the matter. 

That said, despite my “decreased” involvement in the vk fandom from the year 2015 to 2018, I was always present behind the scenes. I know what has happened and what is current. I’m aware of the deceitfulness that runs rampant within our fandom, whether it’s zeki or yume.

That’s why I’m sickened by the partnerships that have formed over the years, and devastated by the lack of knowledge mass numbers have about the current situation. Know this: many of your favorite accounts are in cahoots with each other, and discriminate openly against many people in malicious and manipulative ways. 

By no means does this mean I’m a saint. I’ve made my mistakes, trusted people I shouldn’t have, and voiced many controversial opinions. My inability to play pretend friends and keep quiet has made me deeply disliked (perhaps hated) by individuals, but these qualities have also led me form irreplaceable friendships. 

That’s why I want everybody to be aware and ask questions. You have a duty to yourself to be informed, so that you are not manipulated or hurt.

Why the fuck are there so many negative posts about this chapter?! Listen, I know zekis have had to endure their fair share of angst, but enough is enough! Why are we always like this?
