Mackers is ALSO very tough, but I think Matt? He's a plotter. He plays gregarious and affable just as well as building rage and bile. Could def see him as a military man with a slighter build who laughs along with his fellows as they tease him about only surviving this long by being wily, but dropping it and rolling his eyes the second their backs are turned.
Banquo is Liam cuz big dad energy. But also how much would he and Matt enjoy the haunting at the dinner party???? So much. Those two feed off each other's dramatic bitch energy like no others and I die every time.
Lady Macduff... I kinda want Marisha. Just because she can play sunshine and sweetness and setting that in the context of "everthing is gunna be fine, kids! Don't worry, it's just silly adult stuff..." would be so heartbreaking. Also tiny-but-a-lil-saucy-wit is amazing. Which means Travis is the porter- physically imposing and making aggressively crude jokes with this very small, scared mom about two seconds from throwing the fuck down with him for talking like that in front of her kids.
I'm with Tolkien, completely thirsty for female Macduff. Laura would absolutely KILL IT with the break of finding out about her wife and kids. And she absolutely deserves an eowyn helmet remove and "I am no man mother fucker" moment. Then immediately softening on finding Banquo's kid and adopting on sight? She'd slay.
Talesin is the doctor watching Ashley loose her mind. Sam, Felicia Daye and Mary Elizabeth McGlynn are the witches.
