In my "Eddie has actually known for a while but just didn't really wanna have to deal with his feelings and hoped they'd go away" truther era.
In which I believe that the will speech was an exception he made to ensure Buck knew he was loved, the breakup he justified for Christopher and still didn't plan on addressing his feelings, and Carla's 608 speech hit right on the nose as to why all of this is (but that doesn't mean he's ready to change it)
